It is always an honor to train with Tony Southard. When it comes to self defense, he is the BEST. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or experienced, Tony will teach you a lot. I’ve known him for years and every training session I learn something new.

I wasn\'t sure what to expect going in. I was pleasantly surprised. Some awesome techniques and a great teaching style. I would definitely like to do more classes and learn more. Hopefully we can get him to come back to our Fire Department. I feel better equiped to deal with unavoidable hostile situations.

Grandmaster Tony in one word is a beast. I’ve never experienced such a great class with the demonstrations of his unique style. All the real life situations in which it can be applied is truly amazing! All his experience truly shined through in his class and what a brain I hope to pick in the future. Tony taught our FIREFIGHTER basic self defense skills class and let me tell you hands down best class I’ve ever taken. I was the demonstration dummy for tony and he doesn’t play around nor does he go 50% it’s either nothing or all the way. Best class ever

Instructor southard is a fantastic teacher and friend. His particular style is down to earth, very simple yet extremely effective. His training will stay with me for the rest of my life and hopefully I\'ll never have to use it. I do plan on seeking further instruction with grand master southard if possible.
