Re. Welsh dictionary. The word \'Cadlas\'. Can mean hay-yard. Can also refer to artillery ground for practicing archery. Enter the word \'cadlas\' into Google Books search and see \'A Dictionary of the Welsh Language\' by William Owen Pughe published Denbigh 1832. There is a \'Caer r gadlas\' near the centre of Corwen on the 1839 Tithe Map (google \'Cynefin Tithe\')
