GETTING TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE THE ‘T.E.’ WAY

As I sit here writing my latest information article I am gaining hits automatically. I have discovered the world of TE’s or Traffic Exchanges.

With a TE, you can choose from manual surfing or auto pilot. Personally I prefer auto pilot because it frees me up to do other tasks.

A fellow webmaster owns an auto surfing TE and I decided to give it a try. This particular exchange has a ratio of 1:3, for every 3 sites viewed, 1 hit goes to my website. The duration the exchanged site is up is 20 seconds.

This is an excellent, yet inexpensive way to drive targeted traffic to your site.

Currently, I am using 3 different exchanges as an experiment to determine which one is going to give me the most benefit. Not only am I looking for hits, but I am also looking for visitors who are interested in my niche product.

My main concern with the TE’s is do they give me hits or are they sending me qualified prospects?

Well, any TE worth its software is going to tell you they will send you qualified prospects. However, when I visited one site, they actually told me the truth.

That is, TE’s should be used in conjunction with other components of your marketing program. They should not be relied upon as the sole vehicle in which you get hits to your website.

Although autopilot is a preference of mine, it allows for major multi tasking, there is still the option of manual surfing.

For manual surfing, usually the wait is between 15 and 20 seconds to click on the next website. Again, the only difference between manual and autopilot surfing is the ability to utilize your time doing something else.
