Anyone interested in marching the former Centurions have rebuilt and are looking for people. They are small now but continue to gain more people. It was great looking at the old photos but they don't go back fare enough for me. My siblings and I were one of the original Rockdale Eagles (name was changed to Valley Aires) way back in the early 60's. I carried the American flag. I remember names like Diane Rej, Karen Gagnon, Len Lussier, Tom Douville, Everett Plouff,Laura L., etc. so many....I can't march much anymore,lots of arthritis.... but oh what great memories ....I know there is some film out there some where. I saw the films played at one of our drum corp banquets many moons ago. God bless you all.

Just a couple of points of interest.

The corps is planning a trip to the Plymouth Show. It is a fun time and you can support many former members of the Valley Airs performing that night. They will be with Boston Crusaders, Reilly Raiders, and the Bridgemen. C'mon down for some great drum corps music.

Also, the Bridgemen will be performing in the Hurcs show, August 28th, at Kennedy Stadium, in Bridgeport, CT. Show starts at 6:00.

Sorry to say we did not have enough horns to field a corps this year, after three rehearsals with minimal turnout for horns we have to fold. Thanks to everyone who did come to the three rehearsals, you did a great job and we will keep you posted as to what will happen. Thanks again.

Don't forget rehearsal tonight 6:30 - 9:00 pm at the Whitin Community Center. Hope to see everyone there.

lst rehearsal went very well. We need more horns, drums, and color guard. Next rehearsal April 11th at the Community Center, there is still time to come and join us......Only a short season, last chance to march with the Valley Airs, remember this year is dedicated to Frency, Bucky and all those who marched and are no longer with us.
