I\'m the son of Benjamin (B. L.) and Evangeline Stonecipher Bevill. My families: Bevill, Nall, Adkins, Kea, Baccum, Stonecipher, and Bond have been born and lived in the Haynesville and Shongaloo areas for decades. In 2010 I was reunited with the Bevill family after 47 years. My son and I will be attending a Bevill family reunion at Lake Claiborne (where some family members now live) the last week of June 2014. I am interested in establishing a connection within the Stonecipher and Bond families that may be interested in sharing information with me for a genealogy of our family. I have recently retired and am considering relocating back to the Haynesville ~ Homer area. Anyone reading this that may be able to connect me with my family members; please have them contact me at: Bryan Bevill, 5 Marcia Way, Apt 203, Roseville, CA 95747 or email (preferred); bryanbevill@comcast.net. |

Looking for a second home place to reside as an \"off the beaten path\" place where real southern hospitality abides and thrives, so why not have one with my namesake on it? FYI, Haynes was really the first automobile, as the current claim to fame was only a \"carriage\" and not a real automobile!!! Long live the Haynes name and Haynesville, LA!!!! Would love to hear from anyone as to why my second home {or maybe my primary home}, should be Haynesville, LA !!! Take care and Jesus loves us all!!! James Haynes cell---1.800.257.9173 |

Always loved visiting my college friend, Nina Mills and her wonderful family when we both were at Northwestern State University. Hope Haynesville has retained its friendly downhome charm. Would like to come back and visit again. Thank you for your guestbook page. |

I spent the first 17 years of my life in Haynesville. At one time, my family lived next door to Mayor Brown. We went to Woodson High at the same time, in fact, his brother was one of my teachers. I have fond memories of my first 17 years there. There was never a sky so blue, a bed of pine needles under a tree so soft to rest on or a rolling cinema of clouds so entertaining. I miss being home... |

My Father and his parents were from Haynesville. I visited my Grandparents when I was 9 in 1953. My Father, Willard Morgan, was a retired Naval Officer, my Grandfather, Moral, was a Laywer and my Grandmother, Evelyn Allen, was a school teacher. I know that I have a half brother that lived there, but have no idea where he is now. It's just nice to see pictures of where I visited as a child and have found memories of that visit. thank you for the site. |
