I come back each year to remember Wendy and this year its with more sadness because I\'ve learned that Sharon has also lost Bill. Although I never meet Wendy, Bill or Sharon they have made a impact all around the world, especially with Willem and myself.

Dearest Wendy, 22 years have elapsed and without Bill it makes it much more unbearable indeed. I so wish you were here to share my life and point me to the direction I should be. I am so lost without you both that I have a hard time putting this into words. I have really messed up life as I know it all these past 67 years. I started out pretty much alone and I guess that is how I am ending, alone. Thank goodness for the few good friends I still have and I can only hope that I will not mess that up as well.

To all those that come to this site and want to post something on the guestbook I have stopped paying for this and sometime in December I guess it will either go down or just be whatever is left. Kind of like my life I guess. But please know that my email is sharwen48@yahoo.com and I still care about anyone that wants to reach out. Blessings for you all and especially my daughter and husband. Someone told me the day that Bill passed away that Wendy was there to meet him along with some others, and I told them I was jealous! Still am.

Although we come back to post our thoughts here every year, Wendy is often in my thoughts throughout the year. I\'ve been working away this weekend and was concerned that I might not get near a computer on this day. I found myself thinking about having to use my phone to post this message but thankfully I\'ve made it home.

My son is almost 15 years now and I treasure everything we have so I can\'t image how difficult it must be for Sharon and Bill to have suffered such a loss. As always I will light a candle for Wendy (candle is now lit) here in England.

Sharon and Bill, although we\'ve never met you I\'m sure William and myself would consider you both friends. Stay strong and remember Wendy lives on in many hearts.

Dearest Wendy, How can 21 years have gone by without us seeing your smile and hearing your voice and laughter? Bill & I are both retired now and it would have been extra special had you been here to share this portion of our lives. It was not meant to be and the world is indeed a sad and woeful place everywhere. There are many good things that happen, but news medias tend to broadcast the downtrodden news the most in every avenue.

Missing you all the time and knowing that we are but one day closer to seeing you again and being together. That alone is worth celebrating, but not a day goes by that we don\'t miss you in all ways. Last night we watched Beetlejuice, do you remember how fun that was when we went to a surprise showing and just laughed and laughed. It reminded us of the good times. Sadly here our family/friends are virtually down to just me and Bill. Most days that is fine, but others not so much. Am sure it would be different if you had chosen differently that day. :cry: So on this 21st day of your passing, so much has changed and many days it seems just like yesterday and others such a long sad time ago.

We love you dear and miss you so much.

Wow how time can fly by.

I\'m away with friends at the moment and have managed to find a computer to access the web so I can come back here to do my little bit in remebering Wendy.

Although I never met Wendy, she has touched the lives of many people and some of us come back here every year to show that in our herats she still lives on.

I loose track of how many years its been now but well over 10.

Normally I light a candle at home for Wendy, where her photo still sits in my lounge.

To Wendys mum and dad, William I wish you well and although you are often in my thoughts today you have some extra special time in my thoughts.

(((Wendy))) I have been beyond sad this week thinking that you have been gone longer then you were here. We both miss you so much and wish you were here to help so many thru the trials and tribulations that this life requires. My tears overflow and my heart is heavy with the loss of you, even after all this time. I know many would say, what the heck - move on, but that is much easier said then done. *If only* goes thru our minds over the years and as we draw closer to the end it rings truer and truer. I knew Wendy a little in school. I came to a slumber party of hers once. She and Stacie Barnes stood up for me against some girls who were not very nice to me. I only heard Wendy had died a couple years ago and I was totally shocked. She was very beautiful, kind, very smart, good at math, and very modest. I enjoy this site and visit every so often. I still remember her. Best wishes

Hi Sharon, visiting again... a bit early this year.

I\'m 37 now (and probably way too old for my first tattoo) but nonetheless getting a simple cross on the left side of my wrist. In honor of my Grandma/second Mother who died 4 years ago (my husband says I still cry for her in my sleep) as well as others I\'ve lost. I met w/the tattoo artist and suddenly Wendy popped in my head. So then it is for her and you.

Oh no, I just typed a heart felt message and the website crashed..

The message was along the line of I was smiling because I saw the message that Wendys mom and Willem had posted and it was clear how Wendy isn\'t forgotten.,

I\'ve been up in London today and driving back tonight I was thinking how I wanted to get back so I could post this message.

Although I never met Wendy she has touched different people from around the world , so her memory lives on.

A true testament to this is my friends no longer ask me who the photos are of the person next to the photo of my son, because they know its Wendy.

As always I will light a candle here in England for Wendy on this day.

I know its late for me to be posting today, but I will always make / find the time to come back here every year because its important to me.
