I have been reading about the Omni Quad antenna on the website and I’m interested in making a four side one. Where the gaps are, the elements are fed with 300 ohm ribbon cable. Once all four feeds have been attached to the elements can they be bundled together?
Also once bundled together what position should they be in, at the centre of the antenna and allowed to hang down?
Would each feed be soldered to a connector in parallel?
Where would the best place be to attach the connector to antenna so it doesn’t affect its performance?
