I building a dual band VHF UHF antenna with fully insulated beams using VK5dj Yagi Calculator. I want to have a common feedpoint and since I have old 1" boom it was easy to line up the drive elements on the opposite sides of the boom. What I want to know what is the best way to make a common feedpoint, make sure that both bands of the yagi are matched? Thanks. Also looking at the gamma matching and Coax Baluns.
Am I biting too much off for my first antenna?
