Small ways we can support Black businesses and creators
Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the practical, everyday ways we can support Black businesses, creators and communities beyond just posting on social media. That might mean buying from Black‑owned shops, choosing independent artists, or recommending services and projects to friends and family.
I run a small online thrift store as a side project, so I’m especially interested in how people find and support smaller brands or solo creators who don’t have huge marketing budgets. What are some realistic things you do in your daily life to uplift Black businesses and voices where you live?
