My nearly 11 year old, who has always been a pretty good kid, has now developed this horrible, snotty attitude. She starts fights with the whole family, yells at us, stomps around. We fight every morning before school and usually when she gets home. I have always been pretty patient and calm, but I am beyond frustration!! I have grounded her, taken away music, video game and computer privileges, etc. But the attitude never changes!!Now I just yell like a maniac and feel like I am a terrible mother.

youre not a bad mother, shes just a normal tweenager. sorry thats not a lot of help, but beating urself up about something thats so not ur fault, isnt going to help anyone, so dont do it.
