I have a 10 yr old son who seems to always be angry and disappointed in life. Nothing ever seems to make him smile or impress him. He is very hard on himself and even when he does really well at something he find it extremely difficult to admit that its good, for example he came third in a school test but didn't tell anyone as he felt it wasn't good enough! I am quite concerned about the pressure he seems to put himself under. can anyone give me any useful suggestions on how to handle the situation. Ive tried talking to his teacher but he just became angry at me for talking about it.
