Re: my 2 1/2 yr old daughter

A lot of this sounds like normal terrible twos. But I know that the worry of her being effected by the brain injury can make you look harder at the behaviour.

If she is particular about clothes, find something she is happy to wear and buy 7 of them. If she can't do her puzzles try finder her easier ones. Basically provide her with as much chance of success as possible even if that means giving toys that are for a younger age group, it will build up her confidence to attempt something harder.

Very hard to sit and wait to find out if there is some problem with your child but try not to look too deeply for it and end up missing out on her toddler years. They all scream shout and throw things and worrying about it won't change anything. I know that sounds like its easy for me to say but my eldest has aspergers from a brain injury at birth and I had to wait 13 years for an official diagnosis so I speak from experience
