What's normal? My daughter is in a daycare with a 6 year old boy. This little guy is now trying to pull down other children's pants and he has touched the buttocks of another young boy. I am not sure how much of this behavior is normal 6yr old boy stuff and how much I should worry about this.
Well it is probably normal although I wouldn't like it to be honest. I would ask the Director of the daycare what are the doing to address the problem. I would send my daughter in something that is hard to pull down. Like wearing shorts plus pants under a skirt or dress or jeans with a belt.
This is not a normal behaviour for a 6 year ald. He is acting out something that he has witnessed or done to him.
I would worry about the effct that this behaviour will have on your little girl.
The authorities of the school should be questioned.
Whatever you do please please do not think it is something " normal" that this boy is going through.
Do let the people invloved know what is going on, it shouldn't be dismissed, a 6 year old is old enough to know not to engage in such behaviour, and it could save major upsets if you let someone know.
