Three sets of grandparents

Help!! My husband and I have three sets of parents(so our baby has three sets of grandparents). My parents are divorced and remarried his are still together. Babies 1st Birthday is coming up. Do I put on seperate parties for each set of parents or invite them all to one and hope for the best? Besides it's not my fault my parents marriage did not work. So, should I have to throw three parties??? Any suggestions would help...

Re: Three sets of grandparents

Hi,

I really don't see why you have to be worried about this, at the end of the day the party is to celebrate your little one's 1st birthday. As far as your parents are concerned they should only be thinking about making the day exciting and happy for the baby, after all it isn't about them. My feeling is that if they can't be civil to each other for a couple of hours then that's their problem, they can always stay at opposite ends of the room or even in a different room from each other if things are that bad. If I were you I'd just have one party invite who you want to be there and enjoy it, let the rest of them take care of themselves, believe me children grow up so quickly that you have to enjoy every minute whilst you can.
