My son is 10 years old and over the past 2 years has totally changed. His behaviour both at school and at home is getting steadily worse, he has stole money out of my purse, seems to be a compulsive liar and seems to have no conscience. I don't recognise him anymore I am at the end of my tether and so are the school, acidemicaly the teacher says he is very bright, but his behaviour is disgusting and I feel if it dosen't improve they will throw him out. I have a good relationship with his teacher and the school as I attended the very same school and I am on the p.t.a, he is on his last chances, I've tried talking to him but it seems he is sincere when talking about whatever trouble he is in and the next day he will get into trouble again like he wasn't even listening to a word we say. Please help

We are having similar problems with our 10yr old,he can't seem to help lying and although I don't think he's took anything from my purse,he does take what he knows he shouldn't from the house. Sorry not to be much help just wanted to let you know it's not just you.
