I have a 5 year old, Jr k. Teacher calls to say that my son is not finishing his work, arguing with another kid, one minute they are friends the next they are not. The work he has been doing the last 2 weeks is RUSHED, so he can play with the kid that he argues with. Very quick to argue, and get angry. How do I approach my son about this? Should I take his games(video) away, should he be sent to his room, is it right to ground a 5 year old..Any advice would be great!!! Thanks

My first suggestion would be to invite the child over and observe how they get along. If you see evidence of what the teacher is telling you then start gently asking your child about it.
