I have a bit of a dilema, i have worked since my son was 5 months old and put him in a creche. I was never satisfied with the level of care so recently have quit my job and i am in the stages of working my months notice. I cannot blame my sons behaviour entirely on the creche as he was only in for 2 days however he does quite odd things. He pushes other children (it seems for their attention?) then when i try to tell him off he shuts his eyes. He always says sorry and cuddles them but i'm fed up and i am almost avoiding social situation with other kids. I may try to put him in Time out so he gets the message its bad, But i cant do that if we are at a Toddler Group! Please help me with any advice?

time out is good, closing his eyes is a way of trying to ignore you say to him just cos he cant see you doesnt mean you cant see him. if you need to time out when at toddler group tell him if he does it again then you will go home if you are together, give him the choice be nice and stay or go home for time out
