It may be a better option to have the teacher speak to the other girl to find out what happened and have your daughter simply confirm shes told the truth, after all I'm assuming once you find out your next move would be to talk to her teacher again and this way you can cut out the 'middle man' and save your daughter from feeling uncomfortable about speaking about it.
