I'm sorry but that's child abuse in my book, Ok, kids are sent to test us at times, we all get periods of stress but there are other ways of discipling your children other than smacking, what's wrong with dealing with things sympathetically? And if you actually watch Supernanny you'll see that it actually works !! And walloping your kids is definately no way to win their respect.
