I don't think you have anything to worry about. My son usd to call everyone (and everyTHING!!!) Mummy! At this age they have very little experience in using words, and its so new for them, the important thing is that he is saying words. He might be bored with the word "Mammy" now, and is going to use "Daddy" to death!

If he does know the difference, it might be that he is trying "getting it wrong", and seeing what will happen. If he is enjoying the reaction, he might be encouraged to do it more.

I think the less you make of this the better. He knows who his Mummy is, I should think he could pick you out in a crowd, his feelings for you are the same, he's just sorting the words out. Stay proud of him for saying words, maybe make more fuss when he says Daddy when it really IS Daddy
