I am working with several other Home Educators and teachers (all with experience of online education) to start a pioneering online school cooperative for older children - 10-18s.

We ARE experienced and we've thought it through carefully. But we REALLY want to do it right becaue nothing is so important as doing things for children and young people. So this is an appeal for your ideas, criticisms, feedback.
Here's the basics.
Because the project is small we can restrict classes to only 15 students.
Small interactive learning sessions (classes) are for about 2-3 hours a day plus a 7 days a week learning community through boards, private messaging etc and family based events like camps in the summer.
Every student has a Personal Teacher.
Those that want to can work intensively for IGSCE exams, but as an option; otherwise students continue in the Creativity Centre.
The kinds of families who are contacting us with interest are:
--- where a young person has been sensitised by bullying or other difficult experiences
--- families relocating, abroad or UK, and expat families
--- where a student has health problems either physical or otherwise
--- families with either slow paced learners or advanced learners
--- families with strong social or religious principles
Please help with advice and comments so we can d it really well.
