To All Boschee and Related Family Members:



Plans are currently underway to organize a Boschee family reunion to be held next summer in Bismarck, North Dakota, for all descendants of Jakob and Elisabeth (Gunsch) Boschee. The reunion will be held the weekend of July 16-18, 2004. Tentative plans are to hold the reunion activities at the Ramkota Hotel in downtown Bismarck.



This family reunion will be a wonderful opportunity for all Boschee and related families to see relatives they’ve lost touch with and to meet the many family members and cousins they never knew they even had! The reunion will bring together for the first time ever descendants of the families of brothers Johann Boschee (of the Wishek area), Valentine Boschee (of the Zeeland area), Michael Boschee (of Grand Forks and the McClusky areas), August Boschee (several of his children settled near Alberta, Canada), as well as descendants of the other children of Jacob and Elisabeth Boschee.



We’d like to hear from all of you who are interested in receiving further information about the reunion. Please share this information with all your family members so they, too, can plan in advance to attend this special family event.



We welcome all comments and suggestions you may have to help make this gathering memorable. We’d love to plan a fun-filled weekend for everyone! Possible activities can include a family dinner-dance, a family talent show, arranged tours of several of the area’s old homesteads, etc. Please let us know your ideas and wishes!
