While mowing the lawn today my ss14 puked oil out the dip stick tube , stalled and won't restart . Oil level was just below the full line before starting . 30 w oil changed last week. What causes this and how do I fix it ? Thanks
Something pressurized the crankcase. The easiest way for the pressure to be relieved was out the dipstick.
Will the engine spin over? Or is it locked? A catastrophic failure will send oil all over.
If the crankcase breather simply became blocked, blowby from the rings would cause what you describe. In that case, the stalling may be from an oil fouled plug, or excessive oil in the cylinder.
