I have the recoil version of the 66 Suburban 10HP. I took everything apart to replace the old/warn out pieces and can't remember where the single wire that connects to the ignition switch goes to. Can anyone help me out. Also, is there a place I can get a copy of the key that goes into this ignition switch?

Any pics of your mower...or wiring diagrams would help me out.

Check out the "Wiring Diagrams" page at www.searstractor.com also you can buy three keys in a package at sears for $5. Almost all garden tractors use the same key, except for John Deere

I have a couple from a broken switch off my '66 sub 10 hp. your welcome to them as ive contacted cole switch and theres no replacement made for the factory unit which did not require a solenoid.
