I have been searching for the last year for a complete passenger manifest of the ill fated Marowijne, lost at sea in the 1915 Galveston Hurricane. I had a great uncle that I believe was among the 93 lost at sea, but have not been able to find anything more than a partial list in a newspaper article. I am also looking for any information that would lay out the standard route that the boat took in it's recurring travel.
I am looking for an ancestor who might have been lost in the Marowijne. I'm from Guatemala and in October 1915 the US Embassy of Guatemala registered the death of two passengers of the Marowijne.

I'm just beginning to research the records for 1915. If I find more names I'll be happy to share.
