I have collected two KLM, 13 element, 2 meter beams and they each have four driven elements in parallel. One was a spare unit and the other was in use for years. It performed well.

I am thinking that multiple driven elements was strictly a marketing gimmick and actually isn't a help to actual performance. If it was valuable, some other manufacturer would be doing it, too.

Your thoughts?

They may be a log periodic drive although I dont think it would be required to cover the band.
