A Spartan Controversy

Ancient kingdoms, and realms, from Africa to Asia; all converge, on the isles of Greece. Cultures, that once civilized the world; now rid the land, of harmony and peace. So, see the catalyst, which caused the change: a birth of the present, new age. Men of valor, doing what no other could. Research it, yourself: “The Spartan 300”.

Question???

Why are the Spartans, sometimes, depicted as naked Nubian warriors; adorn with Grecian helmets and spears?
I’ m not trying to sound like a fool; but, could they originally be from Africa ?? Are they black…too ??? [firenbooks.bravehost.com]
