Your African History lesson for today:
The late, Great African Ancestor James Brown indirectly killed a
Yoruba tribal man in Nigeria, unknowingly! LOL
The Nigerian man came to the US,in the
60s, as a young musician and studies at music at various white
schools/studios mainly. Out of all the studying he did, it was the
influence of James Brown that overwhelmed him and caused him to
create a new African beat, an extension of James Brown's style but in
the African language of Yoruba mainly. The man returned to Nigeria
and created, AFROBEAT. Became an overnite success in Nigeria, Africa,
Europe and too a lesser degree in the US. He was the prime African
musician, besides Baba Olatunde, globally in the 70s. The young man
influenced by James Brown became a multi-millionaire and Nigerian &
Black people worldwide civil rights activist. Even wrote a book,
found now in US libraries, centered around global Pan Africanism. The
man became so rich, he stayed in Nigeria and married 27 women in one
day. He had a massive studio/performance arena in Nigeria and
performed nightly with his wives and big band. He became so
political, the Nigerian government killed his mother! the man sunk
into smoking power levels of ganja/marijuana and plentiful sex
relationships(African groupie women at the arena), divorced all of
his wives and YES, caught HIV in the 80s. He died of AIDS and now his
son Fema has taken up his father's music. Just like Ziggy Marley and
the other children took up Bob Marley's music. the Yoruba man I
speak of is the late, Great African Ancestor Fela Anikalapo Kuti.
James Brown's reach and impact is global and impacts James Brown's REAL home
continent, AFRICA, to this very moment also.

Unfortunately, the James Browns, Micheal Jordans, Spike Lees, Oprah Winfreys, Travis Smileys, Cornell Wests, Haki Mahabutis, Denzil Washingtons, Maxine Waters, Rev Al Sharptons, Minister Louis Farahkans, Rev Jesse Jacksons, etc., etc., etc. are not spiritually awake enough. Despite reaching multi-millionaires status or close/beyond to realize: Any African American or other Blacks born in the diaspora, unattached through past Ancestrial enslavement, that does NOT make a supreme attempt to reconnect with one's maternal/paternal bloodlines in Africa, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE THE WEALTH TO DO SO, presently is still a mentally ill individual seriously impacted by present mental enslavement. Another victim despite.
