Caernarfon Newspaper

Good afternoon, wonder if someone can let me know how far back do the Caernarfon & Denbigh or Herald newspapers
go in Caernarfon Archives.

Thank you for your query regarding the Caernarfon & Denbigh Herald, This paper was was first published in 1831 and I believe that most issues, with the exception of some, are available either on film or the original copies at the Archives, Victoria Dock.

They also have copies of the sister paper 'YR HERALD CYMRAEG' which was first published in Welsh in 1855.
