My sister Christina was diagnosed with Leukemia in November. The doctor wanted an extensive family history on her. My mother's side of the family has alot of holes in it and I was hoping beyond hope that someone reading this can fill in bits and pieces.
My grandmother was Lucia Cairo- born in Calabrase- around 1890 or so. Her mother was Maria (we have no surname for her) and her father was Joseph Cairo. They emigrated to the United States- New York- around 1904. Lucia later married Louis DelBeato.
Any information that anyone can forward me would be especially appreciated.
