I have an 8 year old son who very often doesn't listen, but a lot of the time seems like his in his own little world. He is a friendly boy when at school and with friends but chooses to spend all his spare time in his room and avoiding interaction with me, his father and sister. He can be hard work to talk to and whilst at family functions is quiet and difficult to talk to. He is quite clever and witty at times but he worries me when he doesn't talk. He has just returned from a 3 day school trip and didn't talk to me for about an hour after returning! Does anyone have any advice pleeease?
