My 8 year old says "I don't know" to everything we ask him. If I give him a choice he says "I don't know." If I ask what he did at school today, he says "I don't know." If I ask how something makes him feel he says "I don't know." When we try to ask the question in a different way he just gets more annoyed and says "I just don't know!" How can we break this cycle and get an appropriate answer out of him?
