My 12 year old son comes to me every other weekend, 2 weeks in summer holidays and a week at Easter and Christmas. It's always been a struggle with his mum - been to court twice five years ago, first to obtain parental responsibility, then to maintain regular contact.
His mum is now apparently 'going through hell with him' as he wants to choose if he comes to me for weekends or not, and doesn't want to come on holiday with me this summer - even though he was here when I bought the plane tickets. His counsellor at school has now told him he is not 'legally obliged' to come with me and he's challenging his mum with this.
Any advice would be appreciated.
