My roommate has recently gone to jail and he had 50/50 custody of his 3 year old daughter Cierra. Now the mother has full custody and she doesnt know how to handle the situation of how to explain to Cierra that her dad wont be around for 10 years!!!
She loved visiting with me when her dad had her BUT we dont know what to do about the fact that I live in the house that her dad did. we dont know if she should be allowed to visit me (she is asking to constantly). Can someone offer any help with this situation. thanks
I've worked for the department of corrections for 15 years. I can't offer any advise that would help except to say that visitation for a child to prison can be a good or bad thing. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
