We have a park with a play ground right across the street from our home. We can see everything that goes on in the park from our front porch. Some of our neighbors are think this is a problem. What age is it ok to to send a child to the park while we sit on our porch and watch him?

I definitly would NOT send a 4 yo any where by himself there are to many things can happen in an instant these days,kids get taken when the parent is right there and simply turn to check on another child.
