I am a single mom of 3 teenagers ages 17, 16 and 13. My bf has 3 kids as well ages 12, 9 and 6. We plan to marry in the near future, but have realized that although we love each other, our kids get along great..we have differences in our parenting. He is very conservative, protective, whereas I am more liberal, open. Our children are great, but we definitely need help here. This is affecting OUR relationship because he can't separate these issues. We started seeking counseling, but we have a long way to go. Any advice?
