My 3 1/2 year old son has started to exhibit some behavior and I don't know if it's a "normal" attempt for control or something else. He reacts and gets very upset if he gets wet - even a drop and he needs to change his clothes immediately. If he can't he gets very upset. He has now started washing his hands frequently - he complains that they feel sticky. It seems that he sometimes has to wash them a few times before that feeling goes away. Again, he gets very upset over this. He used to be a very laid back child and this behavior seems to be getting worse. Not sure what to do???? Anyone with similar situation?

This sounds almost like an obsessive compulsive disorder. It's worrying for a child of this age to display this sort of behaviour. I think you should take him to a doctor, just to get it checked out. It could be a sign of abuse, so keep a close eye on him.
