Betty TV is currently making a documentary for Five on birth order and the impact that being a middle child has on personality and behaviour. It is a topic of hot debate amongst psychologists and the programme will examine both sides of the argument.
As part of the documentary we will feature case study examples of middle children at different stages of life.
We would like to feature a mother of two children who is just about to give birth to her third child. Observing child number two when their new brother or sister arrives, we will show how the family dynamics invariably change and how child number two must adapt to no longer being the baby.
