Im a single parent of 3 children, one 12, one 9 and one 7. I do alot of out of town work and the kids have to come with me. For longer trips when they were little I had them all wear goodnitesin the car(or plane in one case) they did fine and didnt have much of a problem. my nine year old wants to stop wich i dont mind but for the long trips my 12 year old needs them. should I stop altogether or should I let the nine year old go without since she doesn't need them really. I dont want to make my 12 year old feel bad so I think I should just make them all wear them for the long trips. What should I do?
Well rod, we do the same sort of thing with our 2 kids. I sugjest letting your little girl go without, If your 12 year old has a problem wiht it then he or she should be able to figure out a way not to wet on long trips.
i saw this suggested at a few places, so last week i told my kids (boys 9, 12, 14) that they were going to wear goodnites, they fussed at first but it worked well.
