MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. — There are far more questions than answers at the Miami County Correctional Facility.
Indiana State Police say 42-year-old Matthew Koch was found unresponsive and injured in his cell around 11:30 Sunday morning. Officers and medics alike tried their best to revive Koch, but it didn’t work. He died from his injuries.
Foul play is suspected in Koch’s death. There’s no word on any potential suspects or motives. All police have said thus far is the case is being treated as a homicide.
