A correctional officer accused of having sex with an inmate multiple times inside a mop closet within the Plainfield Correctional Facility is now facing felony charges.


Leah T. Myers, 29, of Indianapolis, has been charged in Hendricks County with sexual misconduct and official misconduct, both felonies.

She was released from the Hendricks County Jail Monday after posting bond. A jury trial for her case is slated to begin March 3, 2020.
