Ok. It depends on what difficulty you are playing. If you are on Normal mode, be around 46ish. Evil: 47. Insane: 47-48. The general rule of thumb is that if you are receiving 80+ xp from monsters, you are a little underleveled for bosses. As the faeries give everyone the most trouble, I would tackle them at no less than level 47 or make sure you're getting around 50xp from monsters. As for the order to fight them, most people like to fight them in the following order: Fire, Dark, Water, then Earth. Most people also have problems taking them out in a timely manner and end up getting killed or almost killed. Here's the Stace of Spades Solution: Using Velm and his wonderful talent to mesmerize... Mezzie the Fire Faerie, then the Water Faerie, then the Dark Faerie. The Earth Faerie is immune to Memorization. Take her out first. While you're waiting for Velm's next turn, be sure to keep hitting her. She's the toughest so get her out of the way. Next, you want to take out the faerie that can direct-damage you... the Fire Faerie. She's easy. Keep the other's mezzied or slowed if your mezzie misses and keep yourself hasted. Once you take her out, take out the Water Faerie (the healer). Conversely, you can take out the Dark Faerie before the Water Faerie. It all depends on who is mezzied at what time. Use your judgment. If you do not have enough skill points in Velm's memorization skill, keep all the faeries slowed with slowing potions and keep yourself hasted. I recommend having at least 11 skill points invested in mezzie for this. Work's every time and I've never had a problem. If you still need help, neomail me at stacigh. |

I do not recommend spending 11 skill points on mesmer. 2-4 skill points is more than enough. be flexible; if mesmer doesn't work, move on to slow/attack them |

dark, earth, water, and then fire. Hard hitters need ot be eliminated first. And have protection of infinity, renew, AND panacea. I was able to defeat them in about 30 minutes using dual ISDN. For Rohane, try to max DI. Same with Talinia if you have her. For mipsy, do not attack. Simply help the group. Your main attacker will be Rohane, and Talinia could attack. You do not exactly need her. |

You don't need renew AND panacea... thats a waste of skillpoints. Velm needs Grp Heal, Dmg Resistance, Grp Shield, and Casting haste, thats IT. |

This is the strategy i used for NORMAL difficulty, and it worked perfectly (it made the 4-faeries seem easier to beat than limpex) turn 1 -mipsy group hastes -velm group shields -rohane and talinia try to slow dark and fire turn 2 -velm tries to mesmerize water -rohane and talinia try to slow earth and also attack the dark faerie -mipsy attacks the dark faerie with either DD or potions turns 3 and beyond -velm should recast group shield if necessary, spam group heal, and re-mesmerize water if necessary. -mipsy should be keeping the other faeries slowed and attack when she gets the chance. -rohane and talinia should be trying to kill the dark faerie as fast as possible, then trying to kill the fire faerie, then earth, and the water. |

The first time I faced the faeries, I got all my skills messed up big time and kept losing because I didn't have mesmerize. The second time, after I restarted the game, I beat them in one shot in 10 min at lvl 46 after hunting around and restocking on haste and dmg potions, in the order of fire/dark/water/earth. Just read meowpillay's 'level to fight bosses' section as well as the walkthrough and heal frequently if you know the next hit will kill you. |
