Ethnicities and angels

Can angels change into men with different races? I know they were assigned to the nations(Daniel 10:13,20-21; Daniel 12:1). Did you know that when you react or come face to face with them, you fear, being startled, terror, fleeing and hiding, losing strength, turning deathly pale, trembling, trembling on hands and knees, anguish, being helpless, and inability to breathe properly. But not all encounters lead to such reactions, for the scriptures also tell us that some people have entertained angels without knowing it( 1 Chronicles 21:30, Matthew 28:5, Luke 1:12; Luke 2:9, Daniel 10:7-19,Hebrews 13:2).

No, they don't--and I think most of the encounters that led to such reactions are found in the context of Apocalyptic books like Daniel (where the theme is judgment.)

If angels can appear as men (and you're right, we know from scripture that they can), I would assume they can appear as men of any race they want.

[Quote] the scriptures also tell us that some people have entertained angels without knowing it ( 1 Chronicles 21:30, Matthew 28:5, Luke 1:12; Luke 2:9, Daniel 10:7-19,Hebrews 13:2). [unquote]

True, but the scriptures would seem to indicate that this is fairly uncommon.

In the entire Bible (which covers thousands of years of human history), the recorded instances of angels appearing in human form can probably be counted on one hand.

G-d Bless.

Re: Ethnicities and angels

Even though we all come from different ethnic groups, we can all just accept each other and get along. Some people are racist.

That's true Maribel, but I don't see how it's particularly relevant to this topic heading.

Peace.

Re: Ethnicities and angels

Sometimes I want to know what lineage I really have. Because due to people throughout history, even today, moving to many countries and mating with other people, you can never really tell. Only G-d knows. I'm half-Mexican from my mom's side and Spanish(From Spain) from dad, but he's a criollo, a Spaniard born in the Spanish colony. In Mexico centuries ago, Spaniards(First Europeans) came and met the Indians, even raped them. They even had babies, from an Indian and a Spaniard or other European, known as mestizo, that's the majority in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. I'm a castiza, a person having more white(European) blood than Indian or black. Also in Spain, many years ago, even today there were many people from Latin America and probably from other countries migrating there.
