korg poly/ex-800 patches
Hi there, my compliments on the programming and sequencing of your mp3 samples. They are extremely helpful, and show the strengths and personalities of each instrument very accurately and emotively. In fact, I bought a korg poly-800 last night based solely on your 'slowpad' sample which has been haunting me for a couple of weeks now (I love the 'analogue pad' as well). Seeing as how much you've helped me already I hate to bother you with this question, but I can't get that 'slowpad' out of my head - would you happen to remember how to program/sequence it? Also, are you producing songs as well? ...love to hear some of your work! keep up the great work! |

Thank you very much for your comment, Adrian! I'm sorry for the delay because of my work situation. I'm very very happy to hear you like my POLY-800 pad. POLY-800 is a very simple machine, but I'm glad if I conveyed the fun of editing it. It would be easy to make these sounds. I always use 2-OSC setting plus chorus, and often add some noise. Sometimes +7 interval on OSC2 makes complex tonality. |
