Kawai K1m patch install
I just bought a Kawai K1m and all of the internal patches are gone. I downloaded the original A200 patches from the Kawai site, and also the WSysEx tool. I have a Behringer UMX25 as an interface between my PC and the K1m. I open the A200 file in WSysEx, and try to send it to the K1m, but it tells me that "A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system". I tried loading different patches too, and it only loads 1 patch to IA-1 and the rest say "single K-1". I am new to the world of MIDI, and keyboards...any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Hi, Try changing the MIDI Reveive channel in K1. This may be related to the device ID. |
