HT-6000 and SounDiver

Hi,

I don't ever remember the spelling, sound diver or soundiver? :)

Anyways, I've got HT-6000 (there was a time when I even owned two at a time! :) The one I have now is in mint condition, has RAM card, English manual, looks brand-new and smells of factory (by the way, what might be the value of it today?).

OK, but the main problem:
I heard that HT can work with PC via this soundiver, that I can edit patches on the screen. I was at Emagic site and found something, but either it's not the thing needed, or it lacks some files, or I'm an stupid ignorant. Please Sealed, could you help me with this thing? I mean, like show me where I can find the full working soundiver and explain the way I should connect it and make it work with my HT-6000.

Thanks

WCOG
(check my website for a pic and mp3 of HT-6000)

Re: HT-6000 and SounDiver

Hi, Jexus!

I'm glad to know you are an HT-6000 owner. It's unvaluable today - I think it's one of the most underrated synths, and I myself highly value it, but it's not very well known.

HT and SoundDiver (yes, as Emagic calls this);
Unfortunately HT does not support MIDI System Exclusive - a medium used to communicate between synths and PCs. So it's impossible to use SoundDiver (or any editor) to edit HT.

SoundDiver is a discontinued product - you have to look for the CD on eBay.

And thanks for letting me know your website! Your demos give good impression of HT-6000. I like the quality of rich, layered oscillators of your own patches. I'll soon check your other demos, and add a link on my site.
