Hi Wim I can see your confusion on where to place the feed. It really depends on what bands you want. We are trying to find a harmonic point for multiple bands. Try http://www.w8ji.com/windom_off_center_fed.htm
This is a good site that may clear things up. Also a 4:1 balun is for 200 ohms and a 6:1 for 300 ohms.
