I need some help in designing a FM band antenna for a low power mobile transmitter.
The transmitter has a single wire antenna and I want to get it out of the truck. If I use a short fiberglass magnetic mount whip and wrap turns around it leaving 6' to go into the truck to the transmitter what can I expect. I would us a total of 220" of wire. 110" is a full wave for 107fm.
Will doubling the full wave length decrease signal?
