Hi Chris I would not recommend a quad here as 6 and 10m doesn't seem to like each other and there is always trouble trying to get rid of interactions. A log is good but you have to weave the feed line back and forth or use dual booms. There are sites that have construction details. The best would be a yagi with crossed polarized elements. For 6m dx I find very little difference between vertical and horizontal. You could make 10m horizontal and 6m vertical or the opposite if you work mobiles on the other band. |
