First thanks for the great website. I’ve built several VHF/UHF antennas for the base and rover. All worked great.
I was asked by another ham to help build a beam for 10 and 6 meters. He has limited space. Quad isn’t preferred. First I thought about a long boom with a 10 meter in the rear and a 6 meter in the front. Then I’ve seen some design of the different bands interlaced, but not for 6 & 10. Then I thought log periodic, gain seems a little lower but would fit with in his space limitations. How to feed it doesn’t seem clear to me yet.
Any thoughts on the 3 type I mentioned? Any spoon feeding of the log periodic available?
Thanks,
Chris |
